1973 Ford Escort RS2000

1973 Ford Escort RS2000 replica. This car was built around a very tidy Australian assembled Mk1 Escort bodyshell around 15 years ago. The shell was stripped back to bare metal and repainted. Fitted with a very strong 2.0 Pinto, making 178 RWHP, driving through a close ratio straight cut type 9 gearbox to an English LSD rear axle. Bilstein shocks fitted all round with turreted rears and a rear ARB. Welded in rollcage, race seats and harness, all certified with MNZ logbook. Very tidy little car which will give its new owner a lot of fun at a very realistic price.
